I've been getting lots of dramatic messages these few days. My poor heart cannot take all these shock so please spare me from any more such situations! Police report etc. Gawd.

Apart from those unpleasant shocks, here are pictures that I took from Medan, Indonesia.

Made the decision to go just a few hours before flight. Impromptu and short getaway. Went on Wednesday night and came back on Friday night. I didnt really look forward to it at first. What's there to do over at Medan anyway? I was thinking that maybe I could go for mani and pedicure, massage etc.

The trip didnt start well. At Changi Terminal 1, I, the careless gondoo, left my precious E71 in the toilet cubicle. Even though I rushed back to the toilet only a few moments after I realised I misplaced my phone, it wasnt in sight when I went back to comb the area.

Fuckers. They are fast, arent they. I suspect it was the cleaning lady but I didnt have time to think. Was already late for flight. Tried calling my phone and it did went through the first time. The 2nd time I got the voicemail so I knew it was the end of my blackie. Sigh.

May the fucker's hands and ears rot as what Johan said. You are a bitch. CB

Oh the brighter side, I went to visit the Pearl of Lake Toba. Think it's called Simalem or something. It was such a loooooooooooonnnnnggggg ride. Hussien said it'll take 2.5 hours from city to Simalem but it was in fact over 4 hours! Gasp!! The ride was tiring but it was worth it:

A river where kids played around.

Stopped along the way to get oranges and mini strawberries. I love mini ones. Super cute lah.

They dont even have a proper flushing system up in the mountains. Sigh. At least it was clean eh?

Finally reached our destination!

Magnificent isn't it? I dont even feel like I'm in SEA, the temperature was pretty cold I feel like I'm at some scenic place in Europe.

The best part is, this is only part of Lake Toba!! The whole lake is bigger than SINGAPORE!!

Beautiful isn't it? If i ever visit Medan again, I'll stay over at Lake Toba, it's probably 6 hours drive. Much further than city to this mountain. So no way I'm gonna shuttle to and fro within a day. I'll probably die. This excursion that's supposed to take 5 hours to and fro already took up the full day. I had to skip all my leisure activities for this.

Spot this loner in the top of the mountain. Damn nice la. Wish I had a more professional camera, at least I will be able to take some arty farty pics. ;)

This it the view from a toilet cubicle. Breath taking right? The view in the toilet is even nicer than that from the restaurant.

It started to rain so we decided to head back the hotel. Another 4 hours ride. It was almost 8pm when we reach Marriott. We started off around 11am!

The view from J.W. Marriott- Medan, the largest city in Sumatra. 3rd largest city in Indonesia after Jarkata and Surabaya. Cool eh. And you cannot find many things there. hahahaa. -_-

Food was great though. Even the locals lamented that there's nothing much to do there except to eat.

The Famous wild boar meal

Finale - the 9 scoops of gelato (Blackforest, wild berries, green tea, yoghurt......)

SHIOKNESS!

Will update more soon.

Time for bed. Dobranoc!

Sigh, I've been dealing with so many disappointments in a row, it's getting hard to swallow.

But I should be happy that I'm blessed with good friends. Those that stand by you and even if you dont see them often, you know there're always there.

Saturday BBQ was good. Nice food, nice booze, nice environment, nice people and of coz, nice birthday gal. =D

This Saturday will be my actual birthday. Will prob be partying my ass off in some club... Hahaha.. Havent done this in quite a while. Last birthday spent in singapore was my 20th birthday. hhaah that's 4 years ago la.

SHIT I AM OLD. 24 and still hasnt accomplished anything! *BAH*
My dear Jason the teddy is already planning to buy a house. I know aussie is different la, but still, 25 and already saving up enough, while this poor girl here is still shopping on barangs.

okok Birthday resolution-----> REARRANGE PRIORITIES

1) Save money
2) Stop spending on clothes and shoes and bags and accessories and rubbish
3) Stop investing time and everything else in unworthy men
4) Find a GOOD bf (a bit hard la but what the heck, a girl can dream, can't she?)
5) Remind myself of priorities

Wahlao eh.

Hi my name is Ah choo. The newest, hottest babe in construction site. Come find me at West Coast.

wahhhaha.. I cant believe I just typed that out. I'm going insane!!

My back's hurting, my arse is hurting, everywhere's hurting!
I had to take over a colleague to do pre-TOP inspection for 4 days and it almost took my life! I thought the worst was over but boy, was I so so so damn wrong. My manager strained her leg muscle and I have to take over her for one more day. Well, since it's friday so I'm gonna take things easy... little did I knew that I have to take over her again tommorrow... and another colleague on Wednesday.

My fate is sealed. West Coast is so gonna be my second home. And it sucks big time because other than moths and worms and spiders... there is absolutely nothing to look forward to. Seriously, no one likes doing inspection. It's so blardy taxing. Squatting up, standing up... touching all surfaces and combing every inch of the units which are so dirty it's unimaginable. The defects are horrifying. Work's never ending and there's a few more hundreds of units to check. To my other colleagues that has been doing these inspections since I was in my nappies, I seriously salute you la.

I am distracted with cooking. Will offload more steam when i get the chance.

I NEED A LAPTOP!!!!
Sigh.
